Manarat Dhaka -3rd Cousin of Manarat Alumni





Manarat Dhaka is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Guys you might be tempted ok nice so just the name. Surprising Manarat Dhaka Alumni were similar in many ways and honest like us Manarat Jeddah Alumni or from Manarat schools in Saudi Arabia.

I am taking about perspective about general philosophy.
All school with Manarat prefix in their names are Islamic. I mean no school that starts with Manarat and us opposite of core philosophy.


The location of Manarat Dhaka is in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

It was founded in 1978 by help of Saudi Ambassador Mr.  Sheikh Fouad  Abdul Hameed Khateeb and mainly some distinguished gentleman of the country including  Mr. Shah Abdul Hannan (late).

I had opportunity to talk to him over phone twice and also previous principal Mr.Mehdi.

What is the connection with Manarat Jeddah?

I think they had a connection but later on it was detached.

Thought there ought to be a Manarat Islamabad but there is not.

Objective being making students who are of 
  • Quality 
  • Honest
  • Knowledge of Islamic history and Arabic .
  • Science and Maths
  • Quality English.
For example our English teachers were from UK and even 

Christians.

We learned a lot like :
  • Mr Roberts 
  • Mr Kennedy (Scotland)
  • Mr Rees
  • Mr Morgan

and loth others whilst our Arabic teachers were Egyptians and Arabic is their native language. This benefitted us in speaking Arabic and some can speak as good as the native.

Both there are doing quite well

Similarly the Boys and Girls are separate. The school building I think same but different timings. The girls wear hijab.

The inspiration for Manarat Jeddah

  Manarat Jeddah started of as a school for Children of the expatriates in Saudi Arabia. The thing about Manarat was the environment  we shared irrespective of background, wealth or race,we at Manarat shared a common theme:Manarat theme or son thing non Manarats would not understand. Ever since learning about internet ,tried finding friends of Manarat in Face Book. Well especially  my close friend Omar Farooq Saleh. Well learning more about facebook groups. Though of starting a manarat group in facebook . But then there were many groups. Think of the different manarat schools: Manarat Jeddah Manarat Riyadh Manarat Makkah Manarat Madinah I though of making  one facebook group but then there were so many face groups for manarat.
